1. About Us

This online shop is operated by The Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce (SWEAT), a registered non-profit organisation in South Africa (Registration No: 4620165557).

The profit from sales are used to support our programmes and initiatives.

2. Products & Availability

    1. While every effort is made to display product descriptions and images accurately, it is understood that SWEAT is a non-profit organisation and selling of merchandise is not the organisation’s primary business. As a result, stock levels may be limited and subject to change without notice.
    2. SWEAT reserves the right to discontinue any product at any time for any reason.

3. Pricing

    1. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT.
    2. SWEAT reserves the right to change any price without prior notice. Price changes will only be valid once they are displayed on our website. Confirmed orders will be delivered at the price displayed at checkout.

4. Ordering & Payment

    1. Orders are only valid if placed via our secure online checkout system.
    2. Payments via VISA and Mastercard debit or credit cards are accepted.
    3. Orders will only be processed once payment has been received via the checkout system.

5. Delivery

    1. Deliveries are made by third party courier companies.
    2. Deliveries can be made to all major centres within the borders of the Republic of South Africa.
    3. SWEAT can not be held liable for any delays with deliveries or items being damaged or going missing once they have been collected by the courier from our premises.
    4. Orders will be despatched within 5 working days from date of order.
    5. Delivery can be either counter to counter or door to door, depending on the selection made by the Purchaser.
    6. The delivery cost will be calculated in accordance with the type of delivery selected and the delivery address. The cost of the delivery will be added to the purchase price and the total amount due for the transaction will be displayed and charged at checkout.

6. Returns & Refunds

SWEAT’s online shop is solely a fundraising platform for the benefit of the organisation’s beneficiaries.
As a result, returns and refunds are only accepted for defective or damaged items.

7. Donations vs Purchases

Purchases from this store are not tax-deductible donations. If you wish to make a donation eligible for
a Section 18A tax certificate, please do so through our donation portal.

9. Limitation of Liability

SWEAT will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss from your use of our products.
Our liability for defective goods is limited to the purchase price paid in terms of the Returns policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject
to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
