REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY

At SWEAT, our online shop is operated as part of our fundraising efforts. While we are committed to high-quality merchandise and excellent service, our return policy is more limited than that of a commercial retailer as there is an understanding that purchasers are motivated by their desire to support the organisation.

1. Eligibility for Returns

    1. We accept returns only if:
      • The item is defective or damaged upon arrival; OR
      • You received the wrong product.
    2. We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
      • Incorrect sizing chosen by the customer. The onus rests on the Purchaser to ensure that garments are purchased in the correct size. Purchasers must check the size chart provided for this purpose.
      • Change of mind.
      • Sale or clearance items.

2. Timeframe

You must notify us of any defect or issue within 7 calendar days of receiving the item.

3. Process for Returns

    1. To request a return:
      • Email info@sweat.org.za with your order number and photos of the defective/damaged product.
      • Our team will review your request and, if approved, provide return instructions.
      • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or replacement.

4. Refunds

    1. Refunds will only be approved if a return has been approved and if a replacement item is not in stock to exchange for the defective or incorrect item supplied.
    2. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 working days after approval.

5. Shipping Costs

    1. If the return is due to our error (defective/wrong item), we will cover return shipping costs.
    2. Otherwise, return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.

6. Consumer Protection Act

This policy is subject to the rights provided under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).
